Florida Senators Background

Florida Senators function to serve the residents of Florida and represent the state in the United States Senate. In most cases, Florida State Senators are selected by a Florida Senate Election, in which all eligible residents can vote for the candidate that they support. However, Senator George LeMieux was instated by the Governor of Florida, due to the resignation of an existing Florida Senator. Currently, Senator LeMieux serves with Senator Bill Nelson.

Senator Bill Nelson became a widely recognized figure when he participated in a space mission, successfully traveling to space. He has served multiple terms on the U.S. Senate and has acquired extensive experience serving the state of Florida.
